Biography

Xiao Xuan’an, a research librarian at Yichang Mass Art Museum, graduated from the Journalism Department of Wuhan University in 1989. He has been employed as a visiting professor at the Art College of Three Gorges University and an external professor at the culture and Tourism College of Yunnan University.
From 1986 to 1987, as the first human body work after the founding of new China, “Qian Fu” was exhibited in the “Shunjian in ten years” film exhibition at the China Art Museum in Beijing. “Yuanzu” won the best idea award, and “bondage and movement” won the best idea award and other national-level exhibitions. In the 2011 Lianzhou International Photography annual exhibition, Guishan (cooperating with Yan Changjiang) won the special prize from the jury; In 2012, he won the top ten pioneer photographers award at Dali International Film Festival; In 2012, at Xishuangbanna International Photography Festival, “the lost Buddha” won the best photographer award; In 2018, Return to Mountains was exhibited and collected on the “Art of The Mountain – Through the Chinese Photographer’s Lens” hosted by China Institute Gallery in New York. In 2020, He won the 13th Golden Statue Award for China Photography. In 2021, The Recollection of The Three Gorges was exhibited at Art Fair Beijing Contemporary. In 2021, His works participated in Photo Fairs Shanghai.

肖萱安，毕业于武汉大学新闻系摄影专业，获第13届中国摄影金像奖。湖北宜昌市群众艺术馆研究馆员，武汉传媒学院外聘教授，云南大学文化旅游学院教授，三峡大学客座教授。《消失的佛像》获西双版纳国际摄影节最佳摄影师大奖；《谁的房间》、《归山》（与颜长江合作）参加连州国际摄影节展；2012年获大理国际摄影节10佳先锋摄影师奖；《束缚与运动》获“艰巨历程”全国摄影公开赛最佳构思奖；《远祖》获全国青年摄影大赛最佳构思奖；《纤夫》参展“上海第一届国际摄影展。2020获得第十三届中国摄影金像奖。2021年参加北京当代艺术博览会及第七届影像上海艺术博览会。
